User Reviews Here Sharky Sharky   Shark, as you might expect, is a shark (tiger shark) - albeit mutated by radiation into an intelligent and humanoid shark with mental powers. You might expect that he's an Aquaman villain but he was actually introduced as a Green Lantern villain (although he's had his run ins with Aquaman) which explains why he ended up in this primarily GL themed wave of DC Universe figures. For kids: Aside from a shark head and fins he's pretty plain - then again, it is a man with a shark head and fins. He's also a pretty obscure character so I'm not sure most kids will even know who the guy is. I'd place his kid fun factor at medium. For adults: The body is the basic DCU super body so looks good and strong however he has additions of a fin on each calf and forearm and a big dorsal fin on his back. The stand out portion of the sculpt is his head - a growling shark face, mouth open showing tons of tiny teeth, nose wrinkled in a snarl and a fin on top. The detail in the wrinkles and gills looks quite good. His costume is clean but a bit boring. It is dark purple boots, gloves and shoulders over light purple. It's nothing really eye popping or spectacular. Again the head takes the prize with tan-ish color with a light black wash to bring out the details. The tiny teeth are white and the inside of his mouth black and lastly his menacing eyes are white with red pupils (on a personal note I've always found the black eyes of a shark scary - I wonder why Shark doesn't sport them). If you're familiar with the DCU bodies you won't be surprised in articulation. As always a good amount for plenty of poses without getting in the way: ball neck (but limited due to his gills) and shoulders, pin elbows, cut wrists, ab crunch, cut waist, the really nice hip joints that allow front, back and out motion without being balls so not hurting the look, cut thighs, pin knees and pin ankles. He only comes with his piece of Kilowog. He's a very clean and well done figure but a bit plain and - other than the head and fins - not too dynamic. The collect and connect (CC) is Green Lantern Kilowog and color me impressed. I didn't know what to expect but they went with the huge and intimidating Kilowog here. He's several inches taller than the standard figures and is simply massive. He of course also has all the standard joints and the head pops on to a cool slider pin/ball joint. There is lots of detail in his face and he's very determined looking like he's about to whip a recruit into shape.
